The CDF-9200 Series of direction finding (DF) processors and antennas, provide a low-cost, versatile and high-performance radio frequency (RF) signal location solution for many applications, including surveillance and intelligence, frequency regulatory enforcement and frequency control and analysis (FCA) for range monitoring, military, maritime patrol, civilian intelligence and commercial functions. DRS's direction finding systems may be utilized in stand-alone deployments or larger signal collection and location systems.
The CDF-9200 Series of Direction Finding Processors & Antennas operates in the HF, VHF and UHF frequency spectrums, with broad frequency coverage between 500 kHz to 3 GHz. There are many standard and optional features that include global positioning system (GPS) for enhanced signal location and mapping. Signal analysis capability includes waterfall and narrowband signal spectral displays and line of bearing (LOB) histograms.
DRS Codem Systems has opened a business arena for supplying higher performance, lower cost radio intercept and location equipment systems supporting fixed-site, mobile, airborne and transportable deployment applications. This new series of direction finders is an outgrowth of the company's long history of direction finding systems for the military intelligence community.
