CDF-9200 AVM-1 Low-Profile Wideband Direction Finding Vehicle Mounted Antenna
DRS's CDF-9200/AVM-1 is a low-profile wideband direction finding (DF) vehicle-mounted antenna designed for general radio frequency (RF) signal DF operations that require mobility. The CDF-9200/AVM-1 operates over the contiguous 1.5 to 1000 MHz frequency region as part of a complete DF system using the CDF-9200 series of DF processors. The CDF-9200/AVM-1 internal GPS antenna information provides improved signal location information for use by the companion DF processor.

The CDF-9200/AVM-1 is easily installed onto the vehicle roof top with built-in magnetic mounts or mounting straps. All of the electronics and antenna elements are completely housed within the DF antenna. There are no external elements to break off or draw attention to the vehicle. Once installed, DF operations may be carried out with the vehicle stationary or on the move. The DF antenna’s low-profile allows for a more covert means of operation without overtly calling attention to the vehicle and jeopardizing operations.
